Since the early 1930’s, Voice Construction has maintained a steady and continual growth in this province. Through both prosperous years and lean, the Company’s knowledge and capabilities have grown exponentially to meet ever changing and expanding project demands. From site preparation to road construction, from tank foundations to environmental remediation, Voice’s experience and proficiency, in an extensive variety of construction disciplines and techniques, have prepared them to face any potential challenge with forethought and determination. But regardless of the nature of the project, the planning, the equipment, the personnel, everything hinges on one basic, crucial ingredient: safety.
At Voice Construction, safety is not just a set of policies it is a company-wide philosophy. Voice has strived to establish safety as a true value system, corporately committing to a “ zero incident” paradigm, ensuring that safety is every single individual’s primary concern and responsibility.
In addition to the Company’s extensive and highly regarded workplace safety regulations, specified in over 250 pages of detailed procedures and practices, Voice Construction has instituted a set of wide ranging programs that address a significant number of safety, health and lifestyle issues. A comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Policy includes a responsive Employee and Family Assistance Program. The Voice instituted Modified Work Program and Incentive Program have both become well respected models for the industry. The Company’s Hazard Assessment Process has been tested and retested and is second to none. These and many other efforts have not only resulted in an enviable safety record, but have been acknowledged and awarded on numerous occasions by both our clients and the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
At the end of the day, both literally and figuratively, safety is the single pervasive element that ties together all that Voice is, and all that Voice does. |
